Pate a Décor is a part of  Warwick Chef School I will just never forget. We used to make these pate a décor butterflies for so many function occasions. And boy oh boy, did it look pretty on the dessert plates! Wow! It was just so incredible! I must add to the story that our lecturers: Chef Kevin Warwick, Miss Annabell Kapot, Miss Lee-Ann Krumm and late Chef Steve Davison were great lecturers. These decorations just 'spice up'- by which I mean literally, your dessert plate. While I was cheffing at Augusta Kleinbosch Guest Farm, as well as Blue Gum Country Estate, we used to serve 3 or 4 course dinner. With dessert being the last course served, all the food had to look of course fabulous plated, but I always made sure by the time it comes to the dessert it must blow your breath away with beauty! So whether you make these butterflies, stars at Christmas time, hearts for Valentines Day cupcakes or whatever decoration for the occasion, it will add the final touches to your served item. Sometimes it is just worth it to go that extra mile.
