500 g butter
1 cup icing sugar
4 cups flour
1 cup maizena/corn flour
1 pinch of salt
any herbs of choice or lavender sprigs - OPTIONAL
Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius.
Mix the icing sugar and grated butter together until creamy.
Sift the flour and maizena, and mix well .
Add the salt and mix in the fresh herbs if you make use of the OPIONAL option and work the dough until a big ball form.
Roll it into bite seize shapes, press down with a fork, and bake until golden for plus minus 10-15 minutes or until golden brown but baked through.
