Dukkah

Dukkah have its origin from Egypt, a lovely condiment consisiting of mixed herbs, nuts and spices to use as a dip for a variety of breads or veggies. A friend of ours, who used to be a chef as well a long time ago, exchanged thoughts with me about dukkah. When we see each other we always have conversations about food. Maybe he just misses it? This delicious dukkah recipe will go well in a lovely picnic basket, to enjoy with bread(which is always a part of a good picnic basket). Another lovely idea for the picnic basket will be tomato and chilli jam to go with the cheese platter and onion marmalade to go with the meat platter.
