VillaMar Roastery Cafe - Wellington
Recently my husband and I decided to have a visit at a relatively new coffee roastery in Wellington where we live called Villamar Roastery Cafe . I have come across the name quite a few times, by word of mouth and some advertisements.
First of all it was easy to find Villa Mar Roastery Cafe.
Because we went about 10 H 00 AM in the morning, there were no one when we arrived accept the super friendly staff - and I can emphasize on this! But after seated it became a bit busier. The friendly lady at front of house greeted us and made us feel at home. Then the barista told us all the lovely choices of coffee to choose from and took time to find out if we enjoyed it afterwards.
The decor is done simple, but very tasty and beautiful.
My husband and I both took a different blend of cappuccino, and man! The coffee (cappuccino) was exceptional! The cups are relatively big for about R 20 each, it is definitely a wonderful tasting coffee for such a reasonable price. I took 2 pink rice-crispy cookies - actually one would have been enough, but it was so tasty I fished them both!! They have some lovely muffins, ice-cream and other treats and meals to choose from.
We were both so happy to enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Villa Mar Roastery Cafe. We have tried out another very popular Wellington coffee shop and the service was so poor- the waitresses walked past us quite a few times without helping us or even presenting us with a menu- (we left after 15 minutes) that it was such a pleasure to go to Villa mar Coffee and Roastery.
They offer coffee tasting experience for groups as well- bookings is of course the best way so they can be prepared, but they do take in walk-in group for coffee tastings as well.
They have a fine dining establishment restaurant as well which we haven't tried out yet, but also heard they serve great food.
I would recommend Villa Mar Roastery Cafe to anyone!
